Dear Pastor Paula,

I just got a new kitten and I am wondering do pets go to Heaven when they die?

Heather,

 

The Bible doesn’t really tell us much about what happens to pets, but I know that God teaches me how to love and that I love my kitties, Calvin, Luta, and Bo.  God told people they were to care for animals, so you are doing what God wants when you care for that new kitty.  I hope you will thank God for your kitty and trust that God will take care of you both because God loves you.  Give your kitty a scratch behind the ear from me…mine like that!
